So I’m a little late jumping into the carnival, but better late than never!! Especially when it involves winning free stuff!!! I’m choosing this as the giveaway for two reasons – one I really do love this product and two I don’t have my camera right now to upload any pictures of anything else!!
So without further waiting … I offer the Terra Cotta Body Buffer by Gilden Tree. You know the little annoying bumps you may get from time to time on your arms or maybe your legs? So if you don’t know what I’m talking about this may not be for you, but if you do then you should want this!! It’s basically a terra cotta loofa to “help exfoliate & smoothe dry skin”. It’s a gentle scrubber for the entire body & is simply used as you shower.
So … just leave me a comment – you can tell me why you need it if you want or I don’t care just say hello … I know the real reason you’re here is because we’re all trying to hit as many of these giveaways as possible & increase our chances in winning something – anything!!! But I promise, if you win this, you’ll actually use it & enjoy it!
Evan just finished his first swimming lesson “course”. I didn’t necessarily know what to expect in terms of how much he’d learn or what all he’d be able to do in the end, but I must I was actually rather impressed with the little guy. He’s not ready for the ’08 Olympics, but he learned enough to enjoy it & have fun.
Check out the total concentration in his eyes:
According to Bravo TV (set to premier with a midnight preview July 30th):
According to real life:
If ONLY I had enough room on this post to explain the story behind this picture:).
I must admit I actually enjoy the RHW of the OC, but I think alot of that is because it seems like such a little fairy land world. I think it’s going to be hard to envision the fairyland Bravo will be promoting when these ladies live in Alpharetta, “upscale” Sugarloaf area & the “exclusive” area of Sandy Springs … i.e. places I know that are absolutely nothing special!!
But I’ll still tune in out of curiosity … or maybe to see if I spot someone I know:)
til the official due date! After my strike-outs on Saturday, I’ve been determined this week … 6 weeks makes me nervous!!! It could really mean 4 weeks or it could mean another 8 … either direction makes me nervous for one reason or another!!!
So I finally found the new monitor (LOVE it) and today I ventured to the wonderful (totally not) Babies R Us again & picked up the chair/table set for Evan’s room. I mean really, I wish someone would try to compete with that store!!
Evan was up at 6:30am yesterday morning … absolutely ready to go!! So by 9:30 we were out the door with my “to do list” in hand. First stop was Babies R Us for a new table/chair set for Evan’s room & a new baby monitor. Of course – they were out of stock on both! So we went across the street to Toys R Us because they “should at least have” the table/chair set. Nope – they’re out of both too.
Note to self on the Toys R Us trip … oh my goodness, never go there with a child!!! After every aisle I had to stop & call Evan because he was looking at something “we NEED at our house”!!
After a stop at the mall & a ride on the merry-go-round, we got back to the house with absolutely nothing accomplished!!
Here’s a little of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s biggest 2-year old fan in action! The video isn’t good so it doesn’t give him full props, but he’s so hard to tape these days … enjoy!!
Bedding is purchased!
3 of the 4 walls have been “dotted” (dots are part of the theme – or rather I guess the only theme)!
And the crib & changing table are put up!
Notice the little helper with his tool belt in the background!!
Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion!
I know it’s July 9th already, so while this “wrap-up” may be late for most with my track record this is super fast!!!
We kicked off our festivities by taking Evan to his first Braves Game on July 3rd. We had given Pep’s Dad tickets for Father’s Day so it worked out good because we had more hands to help entertain the little guy.
His favorite player is Chipper … of course that’s because that’s the only player name he knows, so not only does he love Chipper but he loves every baseball player because if he’s in a uniform & baseball cap … well that’s Chipper!!! Anyways, he was incredibly excited!!! However he wasn’t excited about the game – he was excited because he thought he was going to play with Chipper!! I kept telling him we were going to the Braves Game & he kept telling me he was going to play with Chipper. This lasted until about the 4th or 5th inning … he kept wanting to know when it was going to be his turn to play?!? This watching stuff was for the birds!!
Unfortunately it wasn’t a good game for the Braves – we lost & ended the series being swept by the Phillies.
Then on July 4th, we went to our friends the Klehm’s house for a good old-fashioned cookout & fireworks show. We hadn’t gotten together in a while, so it was so good to see them!!!
That’s what today marks & I haven’t made ANY progress with my nesting calculations. I’m going to blame a little of it on the 4th of July festivities (which I still need to blog about), but the majority of the blame is that I just didn’t do anything!!!
Stay tuned …
